Accommodation
We remind that it is absolutely forbidden to park caravans in the training courses places.The number of rooms in boarding is limited. Fitted sheets (or sleeping bags) and pillows are required as well as warm and waterproof clothes. Whether the boarding is full, camping and staying with local people are some alternatives. This method is also ideal for the families... Think about that!
Pets are forbidden on the training period (Libramont, Neufchâteau, Tournai courses and/or boarding).
Deposit
The boarders have to give a 30 € deposit at their arrival (which guarantees the state of the room and/or the disposal of a key). This deposit will be refunded at the end of the training period after having reviewed the room and the return of the key.You will receive a personal trainee's card which shows the amount of the guarantee as well as the number of meals planned for all your stay. You must keep absolutely this card while your stay; it will be checked at each meal and at the end of the training course, it will allow you to recover the guarantee you have given. Of course, it is forbidden to lend or swap this card.
In Libramont
Normally, the accommodation is planned in single rooms with washbasin. Some rooms have a shower and in other cases, showers are available at each floor. The rooms located in the Institut Centre Ardenne will be reserved for children, teenagers and handicapped people first. For the other trainees, the accommodation is planned in a boarding located around 1 km away from the training courses places (bicycle or car would be very useful to move yourself while the training courses).
In Neufchâteau
Accommodation and meals are planned in the Athénée Royale's boarding. The number of rooms in boarding is limited to 80 people. For children and teenagers to 15 years old, we will keep a number of beds in the boarding until 3 weeks before the beginning of the training course.Accommodation in single or double rooms. There is a washbasin in each room. Some showers are available in each floor. All the rooms have to be free by 9.00 am on the last day of the training.
The courses will be given in several schools in Neufchâteau and the center is in the Institut Saint-Michel. So, you will have to move during the training period (maximum 800 m between the different places).
Non-resident trainees
The non-resident trainees who want to have their meals in the AKDT have to book them at their enrollment. All the meals for the week has to be paid at the arrival in cash (no cheque).
Lunch: 9.00 €
Dinner: 6,50 €
Breakfast: 2,50 €
The trainee card you will receive at your arrival is your pass for all your stay and allows you to take part to all the activities organized by AKDT. Bicycle or car would be very useful to move yourself during the training courses.
Starting and ending dates - Schedules
The courses' periods usually take part (it depends on the sessions) from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00. Nevertheless, the classes are available until 22.00. The schedules will be precised on the first day of the training.Plastic arts - Libramont
1-8-16/07/2012 from 10.00 am to 12.00 am for the boarders and from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm for the non-resident trainees except if there is another indication.There is a trainees' meeting each first day before the beginning of the courses (2.00 pm). Ending of the training courses the 7-14-22/07/2012 at 4.00 pm.
Plastic arts - Tournai
23/07/2012 from 9.00 am to 10.00 am. Trainees' meeting at 10.00 am. Beginning of training courses at 10.30. End of training courses the 28/07/2012 at 4.00 pm.Music - Libramont
30/06, 8-16/07/2012 from 10.00 am to 12.00 am for the boarders and from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm for the non-resident trainees.Every first day there is a trainees' meeting before the beginning of the courses (2.00 pm). Ending of the training courses the 7-15-22/07/2012 after the ending concert (end of afternoon).
Dances and traditional musics - Neufchâteau
1-8/07/2012 from 5.00 pm to 6 pm for the boarders and from 6.00 pm to 7.15 pm for the non-resident trainees.There is a trainees' meeting each first day and a first contact in the activities at 7.30 pm. Ending of the training courses the 8-15/07/2012 at 1.00 pm.
Performing Arts - Neufchâteau (Cinema - Dance - Theater - Wellness)
15-22/07/2012 from 5 pm to 6 pm for the boarders and from 6 pm to 7.15 pm for the others.There is a trainees' meeting each first day and a first contact in the activities at 7.30 pm. Ending of the training courses the 22-29/07/2012 at 1.00 pm.
Miscellaneous
Children supervision
Animators keep an permanent eye on the children under 14 years old. For the teenagers up to 14, the International Summer Academy of Wallonia relys on the responsibilities' sense of the trainees and on their capacity to take charge of themselves. The schedules of activities as well as the place where the parents will pick up their children (for the non-resident trainees) will be specified while the first contact with the teachers. Children are allowed to have their lunch at the restaurant of AKDT.Important
The insurance subscribed by AKDT don't shield the personal objects (INSTRUMENTS-equipment-jewelery-money) except if our responsibility is engaged. The accident insurance will intervene for the part uncovered by the mutual insurance. Please have your documents from mutual insurance in case of health's problem. Take warm and waterproof clothes (the buildings aren't heated)!We remind you that since the 1st January 2006, it has been strictly forbidden to smoke in all the places of training courses.

Before filling in the enrollment form on line
We advise you to read carefully the information below.Warning!!! In future, you will receive the confirmation of your enrollment within one month at receipt of the enrollment form.
Note for the trainees under 18 years old
The International Summer Academy of Wallonia is not a "school" strictly speaking. Children under 14 will be supervised outwards the activities. For the teenagers up to 14, AKDT rely on the responsibilities' sense of the trainees and on their capacity to take charge of themselves.The trainees commit themselves to respecting the rules. A grave non-respect allows the staff to dismiss the trainees.
Enrollment
Select a training course and click on "Enroll".Enroll yourself with the enrollment form on line after having ticked off the box "Accept". Then, continue your enrollment.
Fill in the form
Choice your kind of stay:Boarding (accommodation in AKDT and full board).
Non-resident training course (no accommodation in AKDT - with or without meal).
Fill in only one enrollment form per person and per training course then click on "Send". You will receive an acknowledge receipt from us. The final confirmation of your enrollment for a training course will be sent by post within one month at reception of your mail.
Don't delay; the number of seats is limited!
We usually accept no more enrollment two weeks before the beginning of the training course. In this case, please contact us.
Enrollment on the basis of a curriculum vitae or a covering letter with a selection of the applications. The enrollments' confirmations for these specific training courses' will be done in the deadlines specified in the presentation of the training course or at the latest one month before the beginning of the training course. In case of a non-acceptance, only a refusal letter will be sent: AKDT do not give more explanations.
Payment
A confirmation of your enrollment will be sent at the latest within a month at reception of your letter at AKDT. A bank transfer form with the amount of the courses will be joined to this confirmation. Whether you have chosen to be a boarder, the amount of the accommodation will be added to the training's price on the same document. The boarding will have to be paid at the latest 2 weeks before the beginning of the training in order to make easier the welcome and to reduce its length. Finally, the welcome day, neither cheque nor credit card will be accepted.Only the payment of the training within 10 days will definitively confirm your enrollment (use the communication written on the bank transfer; it begins by: AKDT then some numbers separated by some dashes "-").
Cancellation
Please inform us as soon as possible for any cancellation by post, fax, phone or mail (even if you haven't paid)!Methods of payment in case of cancellation :
1. For any cancellation until one month before the beginning of the training course : an amount of 30 € won't be refund (for administrative charges).
2. For any cancellation from one month to 2 weeks before the beginning of the training course : we will refund of the half of the price of the course paid.
3. For any cancellation from 2 weeks before the training course : no refund will be paid on the price of the course.

To get to Libramont
Motorway E 411 (exit 25 or 25 bis) and the National N89 (Bouillon-Champlon) cross in Recogne, which is located 5 kms away from Libramont. Follow the direction of Libramont then follow the arrows "Académie d'Eté"!The station of Libramont (line Brussels-Luxembourg) is 1 km away from the training courses' place.
There is a special bus "Académie d'Eté" at the station each welcome day.

To get to Neufchâteau
Motorway E411 (exit 26 or 27). Follow the direction of Neufchâteau. At the entry of the city, go to ?Avenue de la Victoire?, the Athénée is at 500 metres! Follow the direction "Académie d'Eté" (arrow signs)!By train (line Brussels-Luxembourg). In Libramont catch the local train to reach to station of Neufchâteau, which is around 3 kms away from the training courses' place.
There is a special bus "Académie d'Eté" in the station of Libramont each welcome day. It will drive you to the Athénée of Neufchâteau.
