AKDT - A summer academy like no other
Whether you've just begun or are experienced in the visual or performing arts, you can
always find new techniques to try out. Whatever your interest - cinema, dance, music,
theatre or the visual arts - give yourself a TREAT in 2013. There's bound to be a course at the AKDT summer school that will suit you. Your course will take place in a uniquely stimulating setting. Imagine how your personal experience will be enriched in a lively group of different nationalities, ages and disciplines. For over 50 years AKDT's courses have been renowned for the quality of their teaching. Courses are constantly fine-tuned to include new concepts and to encourage cross-over between the arts.
This year, about 200 courses have been planned in Neufchâteau and Libramont, by Marie-
Gilles Vander Essen (performing arts), Nicolas Hauzeur (traditional music and dances),
Manuel Alves Pereira (the fine arts) and Vincent Dujardin (music). It's against this record of achievement and creativity that I am proud to introduce the colourful palette of courses for July 2013. All you have to do to give yourself that TREAT is to sign up for the course of your choice on www.akdt.be. Don't delay, numbers are strictly limited.

Carnet de voyage à l'intérieur des stages... Creations of 2010! This blog has been created following the training course
"Carnets de voyage à l'intérieur des stages..." which took place in the International Summer Academy of Wallonia in Libramont from 20 to 26 July 2009. A second one took place this summer 2010.
We offer the participants, as point of departure, to visit others workshops which open themselves for one week.
To do some sketches, to take notes, photographs. To work on these instantaneous photographs, to synthesize them and to work from these draws to make and to print some plates.
An initiation of two engraving's technique was planned to make this : the linoengraving (engraving on linoleum) and the lithography N/B (draw on stone).
