Description
Life Art Process® is a movement-based expressive arts practice co-founded by US performance pioneer Anna Halprin and dancer and psychotherapist Daria Halprin. It promotes and supports personal, relational and social transformation by teaching new models of health, psychology, communication and artistic practice.
This intuitive performance practice is rooted in three levels of consciousness: the physical, the emotional and the mental/imaginary, enabling us to apprehend ourselves in our globality and authenticity. It gives voice to the body's memory and movement, inviting us to encounter our deepest identity, to put into perspective our relationship with ourselves, our history, others and the World. It leads us to find new ways of revealing the best version of ourselves.
Required level
No prior knowledge of dance, acting or drawing is required. The workshop's motivation is based on the intention to explore one's potential, to discover it, with gentleness, simplicity and curiosity.
Equipment required
Soft clothing for movement, oil pastels (24 or 36 colors), A3 drawing sheet pad
